To find the right number of units for your airport we'll first get in contact with the bird control people to gather several informations like what type of birds you have on the airfield, the number of birds and where the birds are located. With those informations we will make an airport bird control gas cannon location plan to get the best results.

The range of controlling the units is 8km (5miles/line of sight). The operation is with the remote controller Purivox TX-H3. With one remote controller it is possible to operate up to 80 Purivox devices!

With each units comes a manual. In this manual you will find all the safety instructions. The units are very easy to operate and the operating person doesn't need any special training. The operater needs ear protection!

The unit needs approximitly around 1kg propane gas for 1800shots. This means with a 11kg gas cylinder it is possible to get around 20.000 shots!

Under normal conditions, this means the unit is used around 10-20 times a day, the battery will last around 2-6 months. This depends if it is winter or summer and also on the sunlight duration. The Purivox TA-RC System and Purivox DA-RC System are operated with a 12Volt 15Ah, the Purivox CA-RC System is operated with a 12Volt 3,4Ah rechargable battery.

The gas cylinder is connected with the Purivox gas regulator. This gives the right pressure to the electronic unit. There are 3 different types of Purivox gas regulator connectors. The gas cannons are working with standard propane gas.

No the gas cylinder has to be organized by yourself. This should not be a problem, we use standard gas cylinder (11kg) which are available in every hardware store. The 11kg gas cylinder will last for around 20,000 shots.

No, the habituation is very unlikely. The reason for that is the radio control operation. Meaning the gas cannons will be only used when birds are nearby and needed to be scared away to secure a safe air traffic.

Yes it is. The gas cannons should be placed at locations which are mostly used by the birds. With the electronic itself you can set several settings:

• Sound level in two steps
• Break setting in two steps. Time between the shots fired will be short or normal (Function is not available with the Purivox CA-RC).
• Blast setting. Shots will be fired all at the same time or with each blast tube after each other (Function is not available with the Purivox CA-RC).
• Gas cannons can be set together in groups to be activated at the same time.
